Harvest Hoot - Original Painting

We have a couple of barred owls that live around our home in New Hampshire, and I hear them communicating almost every night in the summer time. Sometimes I catch a glimpse of one hunting in the back yard, swooping down from a branch into the tall grass. This was painted during the Harvest Moon in October.
